So here's the dirt:

1. in the words of the great Rilo Kiley, "someone come quickly, this place was built for moving out." I'm leaving good ol' Korea in 3 months from this saturday to come back to Atlanta...indefinitely. Pohang is tired and bigger, better (awesome!er) things are calling me back.

2. other than the planning to leave early, things here are pretty much as they ever were. I work all week, i play all weekend, then i start the process all over again. wash, rinse, repeat. Spring is here, finally, so we've been going to the beach more often.

3. I've also been playing music a lot lately with Jason, Dana, and Rob (guitarist, drummer, and bassist, respectively). There is something really amazing about being up there and having so much sound come out at once. I know it sounds silly, but i've never played in a 'band' before, and it makes so much difference to have all those elements at once.

4. Speaking of music, I've been doing a little writing/recording myself. I'm hoping to get more in depth with it once i have better equipment, but for now this is what i've got:

Movies I have seen recently:

1. Rachel Getting Married ~ awesome.
2. From Dusk till Dawn ~ saw the last half on T.V., then went back online and watched the whole thing. I can't believe i've never seen this movie before.
3. Speed 2 ~ I only mention it because i think it's probably the worst movie i've ever seen. ever. It was on TV also.
4. Blood Car ~ fucking hilarious. :)
5. Annie Hall ~ brilliant.

Music I have been listening to:

1. Merriweather Post Pavilion - Animal Collective
2. The Execution of All Things - Rilo Kiley
3. It's Blitz - Yeah Yeah Yeahs

1. The Long Walk - Stephen King
2. I'm currently wading through Where I'm Calling From, a collection of Raymond Carver short stories that Adam got me for my birthday. really, really good stuff.

that's that, for now. counting down the days until i get back to Atlanta. making shit work here until then. here's a picture of a cowboy riding a giraffe.
